Kylesku Hotel is an award-winning Scottish restaurant and bar known for its wonderful fresh seafood and relaxed, friendly welcome. We’re especially proud of winning Scottish Hotel Awards Informal Restaurant of the Year (twice in a row!), as it reflects our passion for exceptional hospitality as well as excellent dining.
Local, sustainable ethos
Kylesku is lucky to have Loch Glendhu on the doorstep and amazing fishermen, crofters and producers who provide outstanding local seafood, meats, fruits and vegetables for our kitchen. Shellfish straight off the boat, pigs that run on the beach, foraged herbs from the hill – ingredients really don’t get more local! See more about our ethos.
The Seafood is the best we’ve ever eaten; even my three-year-old polished off a bowl of mussels.

Please note that Kylesku Hotel, restaurant and bar will be closed from 12th December 2022 until 16th January 2023
Breakfast: 8am-10am (open to non-residents)
Coffee & Cake: 11am-4.30pm
Lunch: 12pm - 2.30pm
Dinner: 6pm - 8pm (last orders 7.45pm)
Bar: 12noon-10pm
Had to visit after seeing the food. Best hotel on the NC500. Will be back.
Our restaurant & bar are dog-friendly
Happy dogs are very welcome in the restaurant and bar until 7pm only. After this the restaurant gets quite busy with dinner reservations so for safety reasons we ask that they stay at home or remain in your room until after dinner walkies.
If you have an allergy, or would rather not be seated near dogs, please note this in your online booking, call ahead, or inform our restaurant staff as soon as you arrive. We will do our best to seat you appropriately.
Access
Access to the restaurant and bar toilets is step-free from the restaurant (with 3 steps from the bar). We do not have a wheelchair accessible toilet in the restaurant and bar.
