Explore Scotland’s Geopark
The Geopark covers a variety of geology and rocky terrain. Wear strong walking boots and be prepared for sudden changes in the weather, as rocks can suddenly become slippery! When visiting iconic geology sites, show respect for the ancient landscape and stay safe:
- Don’t climb on steep faces.
- Be aware of rock and gravel falls.
- Wear suitable clothes and footwear.
- Look out for tides at coastal sites.
- Leave the rocks for future generations.
